NetManager is a client application programme that enables users to connect to multiple Visioprime systems across a local or wide area network and remotely:
• Monitor live video and audio inputs
• Playback recordings
• View mixed live and recorded images on the same screen
• Modify the system’s configuration without interruption of service
The NetManager user interface has the same look and feel as the Visioprime system GUI, providing similar functionality and the same simple to use family feel of all of our software applications.
NetManager can be supplied as software only or as part of a client machine package complete with all the required hardware.
NetManager Lite is a freely supplied version with reduced functionality, which enables users to connect to Visioprime systems for live viewing and playback, but not configuration.
NetManager provides the full functionality of the Visioprime system to a remote client affording display of up to 16 cameras, from multiple systems in playback or live mode. With NetManager a user can connect to and configure any system on a local (LAN) or wide area network (WAN). Configuration changes take immediate effect and the system’s recording or other operations are not affected.
With the Bi-Directional Audio option, users of NetManager can transmit live audio via the system to an external speaker. If the associated camera also has audio input, a two-way conversation is possible, with people in the monitored location.
NetManager can simultaneously playback up to 16 different recorded video streams from systems on a LAN or WAN. Detailed viewing of a scene can be achieved by using the freeze-frame and single frame advance controls with Fast Forward and Fast Reverse enabling easy video search. Recorded video can be searched for specific periods by date and time, for contact alarms or motion alarms.
NetManager can export recordings consisting of both video and audio to external media such as CD or DVD and is supplied with the appropriate software required for this function. The export utility enables users to export the sPlayer video playback tool with the video clips onto the blank media, allowing exported clips to be played on any PC running Windows® 98, 98SE, NT, 2000, ME or XP, without having to install any software.
